Making money while you sleep. Doesn’t that have a beautiful ring to it? I mean, who wouldn’t want to be making some extra money while playing with the kids or while watching a game?
The only problem is that most passive income ideas that you’ll come across are not really passive at all. Since you’re already busy with your everyday life, you won’t want to pick up a 2nd job that you don’t have time for.
Most passive income ideas require you to put in a LOT of work. And doesn’t that kind of wipe out the “passive” in passive income?
The truth is, to generate passive income, you need to invest in an asset that produces passive income for you. Unless you’re making money the old-fashioned way (i.e. inheriting it), or you are willing to put in some effort.
This next post was written by my friend Nathan, who blogs over at Millionaire Dojo. It’s all about how teenagers can start making money, even at 15 years old! I definitely remember those years, from when my sons were teens. They always had important places to go, and fun things to do with their friends. And most of those things required money.
And guess who had to provide that money? Yep, the good ‘ole bank of Mom & Dad. But maybe if we’d had online resources like this one, they would’ve had better options for funding their own excursions.

Side Hustle Ideas for People Who Are Way Too Busy
So you’re trying to make some extra money on the side, and are looking for side hustle ideas to cash in on the entrepreneur lifestyle. Because everyone’s doing it — hustling to make a few extra bucks, trying out a couple of side gigs or work from home jobs here and there.
But if you’re already working a regular 9-to-5, aren’t you already way too busy?
How do you find the time to do all of this hustling … and still enjoy living your life?
It’s true that a lot of side hustles focus solely on the “hustle” part. For example, you’ll find suggestions all over the internet about becoming a driver for Uber or Lyft ridesharing, and Amazon Flex or Prime Now delivery services. GrubHub and DoorDash are popular services for restaurant delivery.
But what if you don’t have the time or bandwidth to do all of that physical hustling? What if you already work a full-time job, therefore only have a few hours a week to dedicate to side gigs?
What I’ve Learned My First 3 Months Selling Merch by Amazon

In case anyone else is thinking of selling t-shirts through the Merch program, here’s an update as to what I’ve learned over these past few months. Believe me, it’s quite a bit — although I’m sure it doesn’t even scratch the surface of what I still need to learn.
And you know how it’s sometimes better just to write things down, even though you’re pretty sure you have a basic idea of how to do something? Well, this is me, documenting what I’ve learned about Merch by Amazon.
